Apex Lifts is one of London and the South East of England’s largest lift and escalator
manufacturing and servicing companies. With a focus on being “deliberately different”,
Apex takes a bespoke, human approach to designing, manufacturing, modernising,
maintaining and repairing bespoke passenger lifts for 54 years across London, the
South East and surrounding Home Counties.

Founded in 1970 by Arthur Jenchner, John Wathen and Elsie Jenchner, Apex has never
wavered from its mission to do things differently. Apex focuses on building working
relationships between their team and clients; no “faceless” call centres. From a
modernisation and manufacturing perspective, they focus on delivering what their
clients need, not what they have to offer. Their unique manufacturing facility in Sidcup,
Kent, allows Apex to offer a wider range of options with shorter turnaround times than
other lift companies. All of this is underpinned by working safely, sustainably and
responsibly.
