BPTW is an established design-led practice specialising in residential neighbourhood placemaking and mixed-use development projects. We work across a wide geographic area, with projects spanning across England. The practice has been established for over 35 years and has more than 120 staff with specialisms across the built environment and housing sector.

With a strong focus on co-design, we develop friendly, creative, and collaborative partnerships with everyone we work with, and are committed to creating places that transform people’s lives. Our culture of openness enables us to design high quality homes and places, create aspirational buildings and deliver award-winning schemes for our clients. We use strong urban design principles, a passion for design quality and a desire to create architecture that meets the needs and aspirations of and the people who use them.

We work in an open, professional and creative studio environment and offer a full range of design services from early concept and feasibility stages through to detailed design and working drawings. Utilising a range of architectural skills, BPTW offers a holistic approach to design challenges, with in-house support from planners, urban designers, our BIM team and visualisers.

We have experience across the full spectrum of residential-led development, working with leading developers, registered providers, local authorities, public bodies, contractors, and private clients.

Our experience ranges from estate regeneration with community consultation to extra care; and from affordable and mixed tenure housing to build to rent and outright sale; with projects ranging from a small number of individual houses to large scale developments of up to 1000+ new homes.
