Butler & Young Associates are concerned primarily with the design, maintenance and management of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services for all types of buildings, but when required, we can also offer full multi-discipline services, these include: Building Surveying, Public Health Engineering, Project Management, Fire Engineering and Lift Consultancy.

The mechanical and electrical services we offer include:-
Heating, Air-Conditioning, LTHW, HTHW, Steam, Compressed Air, Sprinklers, Public Health Engineering, Boiler House, Gas, Ventilation, Water Management.

Lighting, Power, Security Systems, Fire Detection Systems, UPS, Standby Generation, CCTV, Wiring, Aerial Installation, Lightning Protection, Public Address Systems, Switchgear.

We undertake the following duties:
Design, Specification, CDS, Tendering, Site Supervision, Clerk of Works, Work Schedules, Lead Consultancy, Project Management. Expert Witness, Feasibility Studies, Surveys, Inspections and Reports and CAD.

Our work experience covers new build, refurbishments, extensions, listed buildings and fast track projects, often with the client in-situ.

Our services have been provided to a wide range of clients including:- public sector, local authorities, schools, care homes, rail organisations, housing associations and private companies. 80% of our work is from repeat business or referrals from current clients.
