Contego’s roots go back to 2004, when our CEO Michael Taylor, then just 18, began his journey in falconry with support from the Prince’s Trust. In 2009, he founded Contego Environmental Services Ltd as a bird and pest risk management business. Since then, we’ve grown into one of the UK’s leading specialist providers in our field.

We self-deliver our services nationally, with over 165 employees including home-based technicians living and working in their local communities. Our clients span a wide range of sectors — from retail, hospitality and healthcare, to food manufacturing, transport, utilities, social housing, local government, and the NHS.
