The management team at Happy Energy Solutions Ltd (HESL) has extensive experience in managing large scale domestic retrofit, energy and carbon saving programmes as Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, including extensive experience of delivering home retrofit services in partnership with national / regional government, housing associations, local authorities and energy companies.

HESL are well placed to be able to successfully deliver the full retrofit services of PAS2030/2035:2023 and MCS under LA frameworks and DPS for the following reasons:

• Specialist Warm Homes and SHDF Delivery Partner – HESL has delivered over £90m of carbon / fuel saving funding since 2013 and we deliver 100% of this funding through partnerships with energy companies, local authorities and social housing providers.
• A team of fully qualified Retrofit Professionals in both PAS2035/2030:2023, MCS, Health and Safety, Environment and Quality to ensure that your carbon saving retrofit projects are delivered compliantly.
• One-Stop-Shop Service – Happy Energy can deliver the full end to end service, providing customers with a streamlined service and maximising economies of scale.
• Supporting Vulnerable Customers – All in-house personnel, Retrofit Assessors, Retrofit Coordinators, Retrofit Designers, Installers etc. are trained in identifying and supporting vulnerable customers.

Experienced in Working in Occupied Homes
HESL has extensive experience delivering retrofit works in occupied domestic properties, including those with vulnerable residents. Our in-house teams are trained in safeguarding, lone working, and resident communication, and we implement resident-first protocols such as flexible appointment times, advance notice of works, and post-installation support. We also carry out early-stage risk assessments and Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) briefings to ensure that disruption is minimised, and customer satisfaction remains high throughout delivery.
