Innes Associates is a London-based architecture practice that offers strong leadership, positive teamwork, and creative thinking, to help our clients achieve practical, cost-effective, and inspiring projects. Our core services are Architecture, Lead Design Consultant, Principal Designer [BSA and CDM], Design Manager, and Information Manager. We are able to provide other specialist consultancies to our clients either by engaging subconsultants, or making introductions for a direct client appointment. Clients describe us as pro-active problem-solvers and clear communicators and very good at hitting deadlines. They also value our skills in consultation and stakeholder engagement.

We work across all stages of the design process, from early feasibility and concept development through to detailed design and construction. We are pro-active leaders of the design team and experienced at consulting with, and managing, stakeholders. Our practice is well-organised and our projects well-planned. After 15 years of continuous and successful experience in public sector building design and procurement, we are able to provide professional and experienced advice to our clients on projects ranging from £0.5 to £25 million construction value. Our clients see the value in the quality of advice we give and the reduction of risks to their projects.

Our practice Director Simon Innes has over 25 years’ experience in public sector work, and is an RIBA-examined Principal Designer [BSA and CDM]. He has successfully completed more than 25 projects for public sector clients. Experienced Associate Corrie Rounding is a specialist in Client and Stakeholder engagement, and a registered RIBA Client Design Adviser. Associates Thomas Rupp and Jeremy Walker are experts in timber frame technology and sustainable housing design respectively. Our architectural assistants bring a bright spark of enthusiasm, a strong sense of responsibility, and an energy to the teams they work with. Working alongside our experienced architects, they contribute to the design process while continuing to develop their professional skills and knowledge. We actively support mentoring and continuing professional development across the practice to develop the knowledge and experience that benefits both our clients and our team.

Our ISO9001 Quality Management and ISO14001 Environmental Management systems, together with Cyber Essentials certification, bring a guarantee of quality for our clients. Our systems provide clear processes for quality and environmental management, and information security. This means that projects are carefully managed and that information is handled securely throughout the design process.
