McCarthy Bainbridge Ltd often referred to as MBL, was set up to provide a small number of customers a personal and professional solution at competitive cost. To this day we still follow this ethos albeit we have many more customers, ensuring that all of our team offer bespoke and individual solutions to each customer and project.

Testament to the success of this approach is evidenced regularly with all of our work coming from recommendation, or repeat works with customers and since formation MBL have never found the need to look or advertise for work.

We have as the Building Services Sector has evolved since our formation 25 years ago ensured that we keep up to date on technological advancements and where possible future potential solutions as that knowledge enables us to offer the most practical advice and solutions for our customers.

As a business we have always believed that informed clients and other designers that we work with supports good construction practices so we try to support that by undertaking CPD talks or issuing information out on changes taking place. When new standards or legislation are introduced that will affect the Building Services industry we pro-actively inform our customers of those changes and the likely implications of them, not to try get more work but with the knowledge that offering simple explanations and advise will allow our clients to make better informed decision and we see that practice as a positive support to assist the industry but also encourages customers to engage with us to build those so important customer relationships that support both our and their businesses.

We work closely with clients and their professional teams to ensure that project run as smoothly and effectively as is possible in construction as we have always thought that the customer journey should be made as simple and easy as possible.

MBL have been involved with the energy assessment sector since the introduction in 2006, and provide SBEM, SAP and Thermal and dynamic modelling services as part of most of our projects, so work beyond the scope of Mechanical and Electrical Consultancy Services.

We currently have work from the Midlands down to Exeter and Kent so offer our professional services over a large geographic area. Our work and consultancy services is over many different sectors, from Local Authority Housing, to larger bespoke houses with wider Estates, Small Hotels and Restaurants , commercial storage buildings, schools and Universities and the MoD estate.
