Based in Nottingham and operating nationwide, we provide the supply, installation, maintenance, modernisation and repair of lifts and lifting equipment for a wide range of clients. Alongside our core lift services, MV Lifts also the sole UK provider of the Ecocell® evacuation lift. Introduced to the UK market in 1998, Ecocell® was developed to address emergency evacuation, power loss and rising energy costs, combining safety, sustainability and operational efficiency. Each system incorporates an integrated battery-powered secondary power supply, removing the need for external generators or complex standby systems. In the event of a power failure, an Ecocell® lift can continue operating and complete over 100 journeys on battery power alone, exceeding current evacuation lift requirements. Ecocell® lifts are particularly well suited to residential environments and support safe evacuation strategies, complementing our wider focus on accessibility, resilience and long-term asset performance.

This independence allows us to recommend solutions based on client needs rather than manufacturer preference.
