Southern Alarm Systems has been in business since 1986, during this time we have amassed a vast wealth of knowledge specialising in the fire industry, establishing a reputation that is highly respected by our peers. Over time we have adapted our working practices to be at the forefront of our competitors and maintain a good working relationship with the majority of electrical contractors in the surrounding areas. When problems and issues occur our technical experience and capabilities are second to none. We are a forward thinking, proactive Company that continually reinvests in its commitment to improve the level of service we deliver to our clients and have the equipment and processes in place to take on additional contracts.
Our engineers are multi trained and are not salesman or operate on commission-based salaries. If they make recommendations it is based on the best code of practice as outlined by the British Standards and best solution for the customer. Our pricing strategy is based on being open, transparent and honest, without the hidden surprises.
We have built up solid working relationships with our regular suppliers which helps to ensure favourable rates on goods which can be passed on to our clients. In order to maintain a high level of quality throughout our supply chain we operate an approved suppliers list for our regular and prospective suppliers and service partners. We generally purchase from established recognised companies but we are always looking for new local businesses who we can support where suitable. We continually use our Risks and Opportunities Process to monitor all suppliers for quality of products and the level of service they have provided. Relevant information is entered onto our Approved Supplier List form (F052) where they are listed as ‘Approved’ and ‘Non-Approved’ suppliers.
