Southern Artisan Ltd is a Brighton-based building and property maintenance contractor with over 15 years’ experience delivering high-quality repairs, refurbishment and empty homes works across the South East.

Established in 2011, the company has built a strong reputation for providing reliable, professional and responsive services to local authorities, housing providers and commercial clients. Prior to the formation of Southern Artisan Ltd, the Company’s Director operated as G D Cusack Building Contractor for approximately ten years, providing further experience within the construction and property maintenance sector.

Southern Artisan specialises in the refurbishment and reinstatement of vacant residential properties, carrying out a wide range of internal and external repairs to return homes to a lettable standard. Our experienced workforce delivers the majority of works directly, supported by a small network of trusted specialist subcontractors for services such as flooring, plastering and cleaning where required.

We are committed to delivering safe, high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service. Health and safety is supported through our SMAS accreditation and external Health and Safety advisors, ensuring our working practices remain compliant with current legislation and industry best practice.
