The Housing Executive is a dedicated social housing and care consultancy, recruiting at senior level, we have recruited in the public sector and related services for over 30 years and as The Housing Executive since 2002. Our reputation is built around understanding the challenges our clients face and their need to respond to changing economic conditions and political pressure – which have produced a tough environment for providers of housing and related services, particularly in the last few years.

Our focus has been from middle management to Director and Chief Executive level and we have built up an impressive network, with a database of 9,000 contacts that includes a candidate portfolio of over 4,500 housing professionals. Our reputation has grown through word of mouth and recommendation and we have followed many careers, identifying the executives of the future from the beginning of their management experience.

Recent successes, in both interim and permanent capacities include Chief Executives, Board Chairs, Operations Directors, Finance Directors, Care and Support Directors, Directors of Asset Management and Heads of Service and Programme Managers across homelessness, development, housing management, repairs, regeneration, transformation, service improvement etc.

Just this week we have placed an interim Finance Director, an interim Head of Place and People, a Head of Contracts and an Operations Director. We are also currently recruiting a permanent Chief Executive, Board Members and a Chair. We have candidates specialising in assets and repairs, development, housing management, homelessness, support and care and finance as well as transformation and service improvement.
